The 4th North-East Asia International Conference on Engineering & Technology Education, under the theme The Innovation Strategy for Engineering and Technology Education in Knowledge Economy Era was held in Taichung, Taiwan, between 25 and 29 October 2010. It was organised and hosted by the Department of Computer Science and Information Management of the College of Management at Hungkuang University, Taichung, Taiwan, as one of the international events carried out under the auspices of the World Institute for Engineering and Technology Education (WIETE)

The paramount objective of the Conference was to bring together partners, members, associates, and supporters of the WIETE, as well as other distinguished international scholars, to continue the global debate on engineering and technology education under the banner of the WIETE.

It is believed that the Conference has achieved its objectives, and the outcomes will further enhance the WIETE global network of engineering and technology education and will foster the links established with WIETE partner institutions so vital for more innovative and collaborative ventures.
