| The 4th North-East Asia International  Conference on Engineering & Technology Education, under the theme The Innovation Strategy for Engineering and  Technology Education in Knowledge Economy Era was held in Taichung, Taiwan,  between 25 and 29 October 2010. It was organised and hosted by the Department  of Computer Science and Information Management of the College of Management at  Hungkuang University, Taichung, Taiwan, as one of the international events  carried out under the auspices of the World Institute for Engineering and  Technology Education (WIETE) The  paramount objective of the Conference was to bring together partners, members,  associates, and supporters of the WIETE, as well as other distinguished international  scholars, to continue the global debate on engineering and technology education  under the banner of the WIETE.  It  is believed that the Conference has achieved its objectives, and the outcomes will  further enhance the WIETE global network of engineering and technology  education and will foster the links established with WIETE partner institutions  so vital for more innovative and collaborative ventures.
